LASIK eye surgery is a safe and effective treatment that reshapes the cornea to produce clear vision. A small number of patients (1 to 5% according to FDA) experience complications such as light sensitivity, haloes, glare, dry eyes, and loss of visual clarity. Fortunately, new advances have reduced complications associated with LASIK.

 

Selecting a LASIK surgeon is perhaps the most important decision in the LASIK procedure. Your decision should not be based solely on the cost of surgery or office location. Your outcome depends on the surgeon so do your research to find an experienced, reputable and qualified physician.
